Python 3 Script to Upload Image to Instagram API Profile Using Instabot Library Full Project For Beginners

Welcome folks today in this blog post we will be uploading image to instagram profile using instagram api and instabot library. All the source code of the application will be shown below.

Get Started

In order to get started we need to install instabot library as shown below by pip command

pip install instabot

Now after this we need to create an app.py file and copy paste the following code

app.py

from instabot import Bot

bot = Bot()

bot.login(username = "##instagramusername##",
        password = "##instagrampassword##")

# Recommended to put the photo
# you want to upload in the same
# directory where this Python code
# is located else you will have
# to provide full path for the photo
bot.upload_photo("##pathofimage##",
                caption ="##captionofimage##")

Here in this python script we need to replace the username and password of your instagram account. And also we need to replace the path of image also inside this script. When you replace all the values and then run your script. It will first of all login to your instagram account and then upload the image that you provided alongside with the caption of the image.
